Our Story

A call to action

I remember when I took a mission trip to a small town in the Dominican Republic, called Jimani. Evangelizing, feeding, and clothing the poor. However, there was something about these people. The joy they had in their hearts was a different kind of joy, a joy that I couldn’t understand because of the way they were living. But this nation had something that was greater than their misery, greater than their starvation, greater than the lack of control they had over their lives. This greater thing was Jesus Christ of Nazareth. And it was immediately known in my heart that I had to be apart of this greater transformation. God has a plan for this Nation. A plan to restore. A plan to heal. A plan to redeem the nation of Haiti.

Haiti Matters Inc. founded in 2005 through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Haiti is an independently fought country that has been suffering for decades. Through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our plan is to preach the gospel all over the towns of Haiti while clothing, feeding, and healing the citizens of this nation. I, Alita Polydor, am just a vessel. Together Haiti will thrive, together Haiti will be beautiful again.

We at Haiti Matters Inc. believe in rendering service to the society and the poor. We are strongly guided by doctrines and teachings of Jesus. We strongly believe in helping the poor and building a community. With the assistance of the members of His body, we intend to carryout our engagements to help the society.

We at Haiti Matters Inc. aim to serve the society in a righteous manner by empowering the poor and assisting them for all their needs. We believe that when one contributes to the society, it comes back to them ten-fold.

Our ultimate goal is to bring private and public donors as well as the sponsors together to help us in our mission to rebuild and restructure the economy and society of Haiti.
